You will need the following:

1. At least two photographic ID documents which can be a valid Passport or valid Driver’s license, and
2. Proof of address which can be a copy of your lease agreement, utility bill or such formal proof of address.

If you opened your Transaction account in-branch and did not register for Online banking, you will need to Self Register by taking the following steps:

• You will need your CIF, account number and date of birth
• You will create your own Username and Password, making them easier for you to remember, and faster to log-in.
• Go HERE to Self Register.

CreditBank PNG will send a onetime password (OTP) to the mobile number or email address or

WhatsApp you supplied. You will need it to change your Username.

We will send a separate OTP to the mobile number or email address or WhatsApp you supplied. You will need it to change your Password.

Accept the Terms and Conditions and you are ready to bank online and on the mobile app.

You can transfer funds from any account within CreditBank PNG or from an account outside of our bank into your account for free unless you want the the transfer done immediately. Same day transfers could incur a fee that is charged by the sending bank. Check with the sending bank.

You will not be able to deposit money into the account at CreditBank PNG branch or at an ATM.

You will get your Visa Debit card upon account opening.

Once you have registered for Online banking you can:

• Log into your Online banking account
• On the Menu select Card
• Go to Create PIN option
• Create your 4 digit PIN
• Activate Card

You can use your card wherever VISA cards are accepted. Look for the VISA logo on the store front, or by the cashier.

You can also use your card to withdraw cash at ATMs throughout PNG for FREE and abroad for a fee.

A "Virtual Visa Debit card" is stored on your phone and can be used to pay contactless in stores or online, but it has its own unique card number, expiry date, and CVC. 

Virtual Visa Debit card is only available on Android devices.

It stands for Card Verification Code and provides an additional layer of security when making card not present (online or offline) purchases.

Yes, the limit is K15,000 per day.

You can only withdraw the amount of money available in your account. 

Otherwise, there is a K2000 limit per withdrawal, and a K5000 withdrawal limit per day.

You can log into Online banking and stop your Visa Debit card, or you can call our Contact Centre on 

+675 308 5500. 

You will receive a new card and you must reset you PIN.

There is no limit on the amount you can transfer between your own CreditBank PNG accounts. 

There is a K30,000 limit on funds you can transfer to another bank account. If you wish to exceed this limit, talk to your Customer Service Officer.
